
Steven Wolfson: Kajabi Sales Funnel Transformation
Steven Wolfson, a franchising expert with over 40 years of experience, is the founder and CEO of the Israel Franchise Institute. Having helped expand Subway internationally and mentored countless brands. Now, with the growth of online learning, Steven wanted to scale his impact by offering online courses. His goal was to share his franchising knowledge with a global audience.
The Challenge: Multiple Attempts to Launch His Online Course Without Success
After two years of paying for Kajabi without making meaningful progress, Steven was growing frustrated and losing confidence in his ability to get his course off the ground. He felt like he had hit a wall and wasn't sure how to move forward. He realized he needed to hire expert help to turn his dreams into reality or cancel his subscription for good. He reached out via the Kajabi Experts platform, looking for someone to do a quick review of his setup so that he could finally launch his course.
However, after diving deeper into his setup, it became clear that what Steven needed wasn’t just minor adjustments—his entire system needed a complete overhaul to transform his stalled course into a market-ready product.
Steven’s initial sales page was underdeveloped, consisting of a simple headline and syllabus and his list-building page was not optimized for conversions either.
The Solution: Setup a Sales Funnel in Kajabi
After assessing the situation, I realized that a fully optimized Sales Funnel would be the key to reaching Steven’s goal of launching his course successfully. We needed to build a system that not only helped him attract leads but also convert them into paying customers. Together, we mapped out a complete sales funnel strategy that would guide potential clients through the customer journey seamlessly—from lead generation to course enrollment.
Here are the components that were developed as part of this sales funnel:
1. Conversion-Optimized List-Building Funnel
The process began by creating a high-converting, conversion-optimized landing page to capture leads effectively. The landing page clearly showcased the value of the free resource Steven offered, making it easy for potential clients to see how the resource could help solve their problems.
To ensure a frictionless experience, we decided to host the free content directly on a landing page, allowing users to quickly and easily consume the material. From there, we strategically linked to the course offer, turning interested leads into potential course buyers.
Following up, we implemented a sales email sequence that nurtured these leads and guided them toward purchasing the course, ensuring a smooth transition from freebie to paid product.

2. High-Converting Sales Page
Next, we revamped Steven's underdeveloped sales page. The new copy was written with Steven’s ideal client in mind, focusing on their dreams, pain points, and desires. Making sure the page clearly communicated the value of the course, addressing all potential objections and ensuring that visitors had the information they needed to confidently invest in Steven’s program. Every element of the sales page was designed to optimise conversions, helping to turn leads into buyers.
3. Consultation Offer as a Backend Offer
To cater to leads who weren’t yet ready to commit to the course or needed personal one-to-one help, we strategically added a 1-to-1 Consulting Offer at the backend of the funnel. This allowed Steven to capture additional leads interested in more personalized, one-on-one consulting. The consultation option expanded Steven’s service offerings and provided a second touchpoint to convert clients who needed extra support before committing to the course.

4. Training for Steven’s Virtual Assistant
To ensure long-term success, we trained Steven's virtual assistant (VA) to manage the newly developed Kajabi setup. This included updating the sales funnel, sending email campaigns, and handling daily operations within the platform. With this training, Steven’s team was empowered to take over the system seamlessly, ensuring it continued to run smoothly without the need for external support. His VA has now finished Steven's Site using my Absolute Website Template. ( I am guiding her but mostly she is able to do it on her own)
