Kajabi Power Hour

Terms and Conditions for my services

The following terms apply to all projects, no matter whether website, landing page, course setup or anything else.

Things needed before I start working on your project.

●  Copy/Copywriting. Do you have your copy written?

Check to make sure the copy is not focused on you, it should be focused on your ideal customer, their pain points and their dreams. They should feel in a instant that you get them and you ARE the person they have been looking for.

If this is not happening, it is time to rework it a little.

It needs to be provided to me in a Google or Word Doc.

●  Design Elements. Preferred fonts, colors, imagery - branding. Likes, dislikes. Do you have this ready? Any special graphics or visual elements you’d like for the site.

Any photographs of you or your business/industry.

Samples of websites you really like and would want to take inspiration from.

●  Storage - Dropbox/Google Drive. Which do you prefer to use - you will need to choose one of these as these are the easiest to work with in Kajabi.

●  A Kajabi Account – Paypal / Stripe set on your account.

General Instructions

The key to a successful outcome is being prepared. Setting up and maintaining your online business requires the same.

It helps to start looking at other websites or landing pages you’ve seen, or other courses you’re a member of, whether from people you follow, competitors, other Kajabians etc.

Start bookmarking them and share them with me giving me specific details of what you like and what you don’t.

The more specific you are in describing and showing me things you like/ dislike, the more easier it is for me to create something for you.

Next, create a Dropbox or Google Drive folder or  a Trello Board and start collecting your ideas all in one place.

THE KEY RULE HERE IS THIS: I only start working on your project once I have all the above things.

Some do’s and don’ts

As mentioned,  creating won’t start until all preparation has been done.

The deadline I give you comes into effect after I have all the things I need, so if I saw 4 weeks, it is four weeks after I have all the content, sometimes I have to push the deadline a little if there was a delay in you providing me with the the material I need, as I would have started working on other projects.

What’s included with the work I do for you.

Most simple graphics, mockups and icons I can create for you. However, if you have very particular branding needs and have items such as hand drawn icons, markers, shapes etc - these will need to be created by your graphic designer.

NOTE: all files provided to me must be:
1. uploaded into either a dropbox folder or a google drive account

2. Provided as either jpgs or .pngs. Transparent graphics are preferred. I do not use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator or Indesign so please do not send .ai or .eps files.

Changes to the design after we work has started...

We can’t change the structure once we are past that stage, but we can for sure add a few things to make it better.

Here’s how this works:

Once the framework is completed, I’ll shoot you over the framework to review.

Normally I’ll do this in an email with a link to the Page (or Course area) or I’ll send you a Loom video of a walkthrough of the project.

All feedback and/or alterations need to be provided in a Google Doc, or Loom video and emailed back to me.

It’s totally normal to expect minor adjustments,  making changes to text, swapping out an image for another…. Even adding in another section if needed. 2 rounds of minor revisions are included.

Note: Requests for further revisions will not be considered or accepted  without further charges being incurred.

What’s not normal?

Changing the structure of the page/s completely or deciding you don’t like the colors used (which you chose) and now want to change the color scheme ,Changing the navigation menus - like now you decide you want dropdowns…Deciding you want to take your business in a different direction and now want all the copy changed up…. Any drastic changes like these are ok to make… but they will incur extra charges. These will be charged for separately as a New Project.

Deadlines. I love deadlines but I can only hit them with your help. So long as you agree to provide any additional materials and information that I request in a timely manner (within 36-48hrs from request) - we’ll be fine.

Communication of Changes. Any changes/feedback to the page, site, course will only be accepted via a shared google doc, and must be given within 36-48hrs after being sent to you for approval.

Timeframes...

How long is does it take to complete a project?

Once we start working on your project, we can generally get your first draft done in a week. If you’re on hand with fast responses to any questions and have all of your assets available as I need them, then we’ll be on track to meet the deadline.

I like to allow 3 weeks for a full website, 7- 10 days for individual pages, 2-3 weeks for course builds. A lot depends on how many revisions, and how organized you are at your end… the quicker your response time - the quicker the project gets completed.

Do I have a “Must be Used By Date”?

YES. Projects should be completed within a 4 week period. This is the time-slot I allow for your project on the calendar.

If for some reason you are held up at your end, then you’ll need to notify me so we can put the job on hold and reschedule based on my availability.

Ghost Accounts...

What’s a Ghost Account - any project that goes over a 1 month / 30 days period without contact from you.

Now neither of us want you to end up as a Ghost Account - but I get it life happens and sometimes there can be some life events that you just can’t get around. Unfortunately I’m still running a business - as are you, and if I’m unable to complete your work in that timeframe (due to no contact from you) then it will need to be booked back into my calendar.

There is a re-booking fee of $500USD. and you will have to wait for a time in my calendar to get started again.

----

If I don't hear from you for 3 months / 90 days then the project is considered complete and I am not obligated to complete the project.

My clause on refunds...

I do have a no refund policy on all my projects

What about if I need changes made after the project is complete.

One of the main reasons  I love Kajabi is because it’s easy enough for everyone to learn, and make their own changes. I highly encourage you to dive on in there and make any text changes or add that new image.

And I’m more than happy to include up to 2 loom instructional videos for you on how to make changes specific to your site or needs. If you require further instruction on a task, or you’d like me to do something else for you then extra charges will be involved.

There are a couple of different options available to you such as a 1:1 Coaching session .

Plus there’s also a “Sneha can you do this for me” fee as well as a Monthly Management Retainer if you just want stuff done - shoot me an email and we can discuss this further.

Payment - How does this work?

Payment for any project is required in full upfront, or 50% upfront with the remaining 50% in 30 days. All payments will be made through Paypal / Stripe/Transferwise
